Jesus informed the Samaritan woman at the well and highlighted to her as well as to us those willing to be learners and followers of Jesus & to be Christlike that there is no particular place that is significant to God of where you ought go to worship Him. God is not confined to a building called church plastered on the side of it or gospel hall or chapel or whatever. Neither does He dwell there. His presecense and spirit comes upon those who are His sons and daughters born again of and by His spirit. Acts 10: 34 So Peter opened his mouth and said: “Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, 35 but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.

The Samaritan woman exclaims to Jesus; “Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship.”

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.

But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”

John 4:20~26

Yet the Most High does not dwell in houses made by hands, as the prophet says,

‘Heaven is my throne,

and the earth is my footstool.

What kind of house will you build for me, says the Lord,

or what is the place of my rest?

Did not my hand make all these things?’

“You stiff-necked people, uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit. Acts 7:48-50

We are the temple of God where He dwells and inhabits tabernacling with us at our tent of meeting. 1 Cor 3:16-17; Ex 33:7; Lev 16:11~13; Eph 4:22~24; Heb 13:12~13

What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6:14~18

Are brick and mortar church buildings far more important than our brothers and sisters lives in Christ? If we just met as Jesus stated then it would eliminate drastically the threats of violence and death to those who are elevating the structures and only stubbornly meeting in institutionalised church buildings, that have now become an idol above Jesus Christ Himself. Doesn't Gods own wisdom and grace dictate?

Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:25

For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? Luke 9:24~25_

Heavenly father wants to save lives not put His sheep and lambs to unnecessary slaughter because of man's traditions?? Jesus said “And that where two or three or more are gathered in my name I am their in the midst of them.” Matthew 18-19-20

Malachi 3: 16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name. 17 “They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. 18 Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him.

Please don’t use the term jihadi, what that man did was religiously motivated but no Muslim in their right mind should be justifying it.
