The MILO simulator tests whether church security teams can communicate, de-escalate, select the proper force option, and make sound decisions under pressure.
I will also say that there needs to be a change to how non-profit grants can be used. Currently, grant funding cannot be utilized for this type of training equipment. Given the more violent challenges that church security teams face, this funding should be made available for this type of equipment. As prior law enforcement, I can speak to how much this type of training helps.

I truly believe God has led me to use this as a ministry. Everyone who has gone through the training has walked away saying how much they learned—especially about their decision-making, situational awareness, and how they would respond in a real-life situation.
I also took a chapter out of your playbook: I’ve made this a completely free ministry. I believe God has blessed me with the equipment, experience, and opportunity to do this, and I want to use those blessings to help churches better prepare and protect the people God has entrusted to them.
