Keith, thank you again. With that, let me point you to an important book by Ed Monk called "The First 30 Seconds." In it he makes the case, based purely on his research and the math, that to keep the body-count below double-digits, the "problem" has to be solved within the first 30 seconds. It's just the math. I first come to know about ChristianWorriorTraining watching training videos on USCCA which I am also a member of. Seen the video interview with you pertaining to church security. I am also a certified RSO and currently have approximately 160 hrs of training. I was raised up in a family of Law Enforcement. And I thank you for your service. Just recently updated our security cameras at the church and I have meetings with my team at lest once a month most of my team are elderly so I’m the one responsible mostly for training my team. I show them the same videos that I trained with and also the intell that you provide. Have gained some great insight from CristianWorriorTraining and USCCA. Keep up the good work you’re doing for our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST Be Blessed
Keith, several members of my church's safety team (only my husband and I are commissioned LEO / licensed security) are active on Christian Warrior Training. We often share your articles with our pastor who is a supporter. We have cameras and a diligent man watching those monitors like a hawk, we walk the parking lot, all members have radios, and a few of us train regularly with firearms, situational awareness, de-escalation, and medical trauma. The policy, one you won't see on our web site, is that all members of the safety team who carry MUST be licensed to do so. As far as the congregation is concerned, a few are firearms instructors or LEOs, about two dozen are veterans, and the rest are farm boys who "know how to shoot". The pastor and the safety team fears the outcome if all Billy Heck breaks loose. Crossfire and condition black! I don't know if Pastor will address the issue but I'll keep squeaking. Keith - I am on my church's safety team and am currently working on a training deck about vigilance (highlighting parking lot, door, lobby, sanctuary and after services as times to be vigilant). Our church is small (300 on campus over two sevices), with a correspondingly small number of team members. One of our challenges is to get members to be more vigilant at their posts and not be sidetracked by fellowship and other distractions. Your insights at CWT have been invaluable to me as the deignated trainer for our team. God Bless!
I agree with pretty much everything you said concerning security and preparedness. You seem to consider yourself and expert on the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints yet you never refer to it by its proper name. You say you love your LDS neighbors and "they created in the image of God." And you're not trying to get the Christians to criticize the LDS but you fail to acknowledge that the LDS are Christians. As if you somehow know how God defines a Christian. You call the Baptists Christians but, if you judged based on their name, it would seem that they worship John the Baptist. Of course, I think Baptists are Christians because they say they believe in Christ. Don't you think that people who name their church after Jesus Christ believe in Jesus Christ? At the end of the day I think He will be the one who judges who is truly a Christian.
Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Let's hope that when you and I see Him eye to eye that He considers us Christians. And, maybe give some grace to your brothers and sisters whom you say you love but consider them less than Christian. Keep up the good work. I think you are doing God's work.
Mark Fuller here from Price, Ut. I have been standing watch since 2019, in what ever church I happen to be in. I had a sit down meeting with my Bishop and his counselors about security. It was a positive meeting, and they liked some of my ideas for controlling entry into the building. I shared your “blunt” video and he liked it, and shared it with two other Bishops in our area…
I worked for one of the largest evangelical denominations in the U.S. They published an article around 2009 regarding church security. It was written by a lawyer so there is a lot of legal info as well. It lists active shooter events from 1999 to 2009. However, as far as I'm aware they have not actively pursued encouraging or helping to create security plans for churches, think financially. Churches are considered autonomous entities so the national office can publish recommendations but can't force any church to follow them. Ironically, the "important" people at the national office can carry while at work, but the peon nobodies can't.

Sometimes 2 or 3 for in and out, but they don’t listen what I had learned lately with you. I just pray for them and take care myself and brother and sisters at my surroundings
