As an executive member of law enforcement and former tactical commander and member of our church security team the threats to our church’s (soft targets) can’t be overemphasized. We are living in a day and age where there are more than likely thousands of terrorists operating on our soil. To combat and stop an active shooter incident at our churches it will and does take every member of the flock. Vigilance is paramount and key to being in front of the curve and not behind it. Please “see something, say something”. If you are a member of your security team, you must operate with the “not if but when minded” and be ready at all times. It is my humble opinion derived through my own research and study, terrorist are preparing and prepared to hit our congregations across this nation.
