Thanks for this information Keith. I have noticed that there is also an uptick in incidents at churches involving people who are conducting 1st amendment audits. They stand in a public place and video parking lots and the comings and goings of worshippers. I have seen them be silent when approached by church security. Some speak unintelligibly to possibly indicate that they are middle eastern descent. I have some pretty ugly responses from church security that are then posted on YouTube for potential profit. Security team members should be aware of and discuss tactics for people who may be engaged in a constitutional protected activity. Keep your cool using discernment to keep your church safe from either. On the other side of the coin is if they are on church property, document the encounter, call LE and trespass.
