What are your thoughts regarding concealed SBR's as part of a church security plan? I have been taught and I believe that if it became necessary to take a shot at anything over 30 feet a pistol is the wrong tool in the toolbox if yiu have another tool. God forbid if a shot had to make across a church maybe 100 feet or more the risk to others using a pistol is terrifing just thinking about or I should more terrifying given the overall subject matter. What brought this issue home to me is one that involved church politics making a decision over one that had been made after the senior pastor, the head of the deacon body, who is also the head of the security team, had approved having at least one member of the security team being armed with both a handgun and a SBR. Of course nothing take the place of practice and practicing with what whatever weapon or weapons that the team member will be practicing seems is harder than it should be given the duty to protect the flock. As an aside a SBR had been carried to, during and after church in a discreet sling bag for months with no one the wiser that it was there.

This video reminded me of during a training showing something I already had seen first hand of how hard it is to penetrate a windshield. Add to that a pistol with defensive ammunition. Side windows are of course a different matter. I will try to contact you via ChristianWarriorTraining.com but I thought your comments here might be useful one way or the other.

Two members of my team carry ARs chambered in 300 Black Out with 110 grain Hornady Black for ammo to limit over penetration.
