In many states Tennessee being one of those states; to be , an Unarmed or Armed Security Guard/Officer one must under go state regulated training and licensing.

Some states; however, require “no such training and/or licensing “ requirements.

We have a State of Tennessee issued Security Officer License with Photo , Certifications , Officer License Number and Expiration Date of Current License. We have to qualify every 2 years on law , updates on the law , first aid , any special certifications ( ie Deescalation , Less than Lethal Restraining Techniques, CPR , First Aid, Active Shooter Training, Single Officer Aslant Response , Each Weapon … Handgun for Duty ).

This helps making sure Officers are “Qualified” for assignments.

It’s All About Prevention NOT RESPONSE; however, If RESPONSE is REQUIRED to Be Qualified and Capable of Swift and Effective Action to Handle the Situation.

God Bless

Be Safe
