This week: 7 reports across 6 states. Two same-day bicycle approaches on Sunday, July 12, in California and Pennsylvania, both involving young males wearing packs on the front of the body.
Im sorry, but why would you allow someone with that description and a backpack into the sanctuary? Can't someone ask him some questions first? This is the problem to begin with‐‐"piety" or "being nice" or "assuming everyone is ok or nice" causes danger or worse to people. Whatever happened to vigilance? My husband was on a church security team before it was popular. Us ladies were inside at a Bible study. Our church wasn't in the best neighborhood. Thankfully to God, my husband & 2 other security members were at the door when some random guy wanted in. They stopped him asked questions, he got upset & left. That's what should be happening.
That is the risk we take. We are Christians first. What if it is someone on drugs? This is reached their last straw and this is what it took for them to reach Christ? Then we turn them away? We have to work hard harder, not take the easy way out.
I do agree with you Maritizza. Same issue with unattended items. I also agree with Keith in temperament. I think a no backpack policy with security open to case by case approvals. Just examples; Oxygen equipment, Medications contents, diapers and associated articles. Security, properly trained and people willing to have their backpacks or similar containers manually searched works, US Fourth Amendment does not attach if the search is permissive.
Thank you. I will forward this information on to two churches who are high profile in a sense because they stedfastly stand for Israel, pro-life, pro-family, solid Bible discipleship. The pastors of both churches are very well known for their righteous stance. So I will send this on. I believe both have good security but this information will be very helpful to them. God bless.
Probing.....definitely working intel on soft targets with maximum effects. Keep guns at the ready...
Count on it. They are collecting intelligence for targeting.
Keith:
Great initiative. I am sharing this SAR on my website in my Significant Activity Weekly to be published 27 Jul 2026.
