Halloween is the eve of All Saints’ Day, which in Christian tradition does involve dressing up as skeletons and stuff as a “Memento Mori,” a reminder that you’re going to die and meet Jesus, so you’d better be ready. In Catholic Christian cultures, it also involved kids going around and getting cakes or sweets in exchange for promising to pray for the dead or dying of each family whose house they visited.
Sundays fall on the 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th. Interesting. Three of the dates 7,14,28 are indicated for potential events. I would add a couple if there was any incidents near your church or within your church where your group knows of previous activity.
The “No Kings” movement has a nationwide protest scheduled for October 18th, as well.
CONSIDER: STUDY MUSLIM HOLY DAYS.
Rosh Hashanah in 2025 was Monday, September 22,- Wednesday, September 24
Just have a quick question. How is it figured that Halloween is a Christian holiday? Thanks
I was wondering the same thing! It’s definitely not a Christian thing
