Thank you, Keith. Many years those scriptures you listed about drinking whispered in my ears and Greg Laurie's sermon about being "rapture ready" convicted me. Moderation was a battle I couldn't win. I have been sober three years and seven months. Praise God!
My church has an armed safety team member patrol our campus in a golf cart. And we are blessed to have received a substantial grant from HS for enhanced security measures. It took more than a year, but our persistence paid off. Always vigilant.
Recently watched a heartfelt explanation from Timcast, which I do not follow, but this showed up on my feed and I had a few minutes thus watched. He was describing an event where someone drove by his 'compound' studio and discharged a firearm. This is after numerous credible death threats. His conversation was he may not continue to broadcast because he cannot afford the increased security forces needed to protect him, his family and staff.
Todays churches are under the same threat, Charlie Kirk was under the same threat. Our President and cabinet members are under threat.
We're not in Kansas anymore, only God knows how much more serious these threats will become. Thank you, Keith for your continued dedication to inform instruct and train.
