I echo the value of of citing state (or even country, if needed) for your news headline summaries. Even clicking a link to a local news outlet website doesn't always tell the reader where the news took place without wasting more clicks to find the home base of the news outlet. Proximity is one of the important principles of news...if it's "closer" to me the story or incident is probably more important to me. Grouping crimes by type is useful; the table of contents (TOC) is good idea, would be even better if you can hyperlink the TOC entries to the topics. Keep up the good work, Keith.
