Keith: I just wanted to take moment to let you know how much I, and many of the folks on my team, appreciate your ministry and what you provide as actionable information. We are an all volunteer group in a rural settling that works regularly to assure the safety and security of our church family, and the information you provide (both events, insights, plans and protocols) have given us a framework for preparation that would have been much more difficult to obtain otherwise. Plus, your regular reminders to keep Christ central to our efforts has been one of the keys to our success thus far. Your ministry has truly helped us in our ministry, thank you.
We attend a church which has over a dozen campuses in Florida. Half the people at attend church are armed. For some reason, our church doesn't feel safety team members should have firearms because of their insurance coverage. Although if you're an usher, you can have a firearm. The law has changed as of July 1st in Florida to recognize that volunteer safety team members fall under license security personnel now. It's unsettling that, the church ignores scripture regarding this. The church is letting insurance dictate whether they have an armed safety team. How do I convince the administration to arm their safety team appropriately?

Keith I have looked into Right to Bear and they Do Not Cover in New York State! I don’t know what they are telling you but unfortunately for us living in this anti-right state we can’t get the legal protection!
