We attend a church which has over a dozen campuses in Florida. Half the people at attend church are armed. For some reason, our church doesn't feel safety team members should have firearms because of their insurance coverage. Although if you're an usher, you can have a firearm. The law has changed as of July 1st in Florida to recognize that volunteer safety team members fall under license security personnel now. It's unsettling that, the church ignores scripture regarding this. The church is letting insurance dictate whether they have an armed safety team. How do I convince the administration to arm their safety team appropriately?
