Great course! I run a team of 12 people at the largest outdoor church that I know of. Our Christmas Eve and Easter services have drawn as many as 5000 people. Most Sundays during snowbird season have approx. 1500 in congregation.

Radios are a constant training topic!

I need a credit for the last charge. I didn’t want. Who do I get ahold of

Excellent call on using FRS and GMRS radios. They are the same as the old telephone party lines. So-called privacy codes aren’t private. All they really do is prevent you from hearing other traffic on that channel. A dedicated person or group can de-code your codes fairly easily.

Glad that fcc license is for life

Amateur radio and GMRS licenses are good for only 10 years.

I have a fcc# for life cuz it’s part of having a captain license for the boat radio ais system

Isn’t that license restricted to the vessel?

Cheramie III%'s avatar

No the captain cuz we are on different vessels in the fleet so we have our own personal number for life
