In the heart of Glendale, Arizona, preacher Hans Schmidt, a devoted father of two and former combat medic, faced an unimaginable act of violence. While engaging in outreach ministry on the bustling streets of West Peoria and 51st Avenue, he was tragically shot and critically injured. This incident raises serious concerns about the safety of those who openly practice and share our faith.
I also pray for Pastor Schmidt’s healing and boldness for all involved to band together even stronger to that community, because if the Devil is trying to stop him there must be some mighty strongholds getting ready to be broken. This world is temporary. God's is eternal. If Pastor Schmidt reached one person, or planted one seed, his work is not in vain. We cannot become paralyzed by fears of our own safety.
