My guess is that ‘2”’ is a typo in the rush to put out the news, given that 5mm is mentioned. 5mm, then striking the sternum and going to the side is still pretty much a miracle.

Thank you for bringing this information to light for everyone of all religions to pray for President Wallis’ recovery and all faith missionaries to be more vigilant in these countries that present many dangers and better situational awareness! Your advice to always be aware and prepared is much appreciated no matter what your circumstances! Thank you again for keeping us updated and informed, and providing great information

Probably a .380, which is the only caliber that can be sold to Mexican citizens.

More likely. At first glance, bullets from .380 and 9mm are going to look very, very similar.

True, but in Mexico, the 9mm is restricted to the military. That is not to say that it wasn't a 9mm, but in my experience, the .380 (or 9mm short) provides for less penetration than the 9mm.

Did you mean to say Wife, Sister Elisabeth…or Wife/sister?

Not trying to pick on the LDS. But punctuation is important…

She is his wife, but her title is Sister and his title is President. Our male Missionaries have the title of Elder abd female Missionaries are referred to as Sister. We generally use Brother and Sister as warm greetings.

Thank you for including us. Many of us learn from your programs.
