Thoughtful, professional, content rich, experienced and knowledgeable insights, challenging presentation. Biblical foundation overshadowing all you teach.
In part, your work through CW has enabled the church I attend go from no Safety Team to now having one, and a church saying following your ABC is fully supported.
Yes, we must never loose sight of Gods true truth that we are all created by God in his image. Something that can be very challenging for me at times, living in CA - the home of the fruits and nuts. Jesus is Lord and all will someday face that truth.
Again, thank you - and thank you for your service.
46 And they were doing that which they felt was the duty which they owed to their God; for the Lord had said unto them, and also unto their fathers, that: Inasmuch as ye are not guilty of the first offense, neither the second, ye shall not suffer yourselves to be slain by the hands of your enemies.
Don’t worry about what people say about you or to you, haters are going to hate, even if they act pious on Sunday mornings. You model Christianity way better on your videos than most practice. Thanks Keith
Your statement has no relevance to the topic at hand. I guess it was my mistake thinking I could get some information without the bigotry was too far-fetched. I'll see myself out.
As a member of my Churches security/safety team I am grateful for mine and the other members of our team of the gift that God has given me to protect my Church family. God tells us to use our talents that God has given each of us. I believe that this is a talent that God has given me. There aren't many individuals that want to do this job. As a former LEO l know the dangers that lurk and the potential of danger that could come to us. I'm not nieve. But we're ready if the fight is brought to us. I've told my wife that I will do everything that I possibly can to protect the members. If l fail, l would not be able to live with myself if something happens.
Astounding! The LDS policy relies on the default position of calling 911 and waiting for a police response....a response that can only occur several minutes after the start of an attack. This position almost ensures that an aggressive attacker can achieve a high casualty count.
I recently finished a book titled "First 30 Seconds" by Ed Monk of Last Resort Training & Consulting. Monk details the concept of the average casualty count that can occur over the passage of time. He also advocates for a strong, prepared, and trained group of individuals to be present and ready to protect.
The ugly reality of these types of evil threats should convince anyone with a sober, effective mind that diligence and preparation are not only necessary, but also Biblical.
People who attack places of worship usually have something wrong with their thought process. I agree when Keith writes that for folks like that, a church is a church is a church. Publicizing the gun-free zone status at one church tends to leave the impression that other churches are easy targets too, thus endangering others. Dr. John Lott's research shows that concealed carry saves lives but gun-free zones lead to tragedy. Keith's done a good job showing Bible verses where God allows, even expects, self defense.
To me, it all becomes crystal clear when the defenseless are threatened. It's my job to protect them.
At our church we feel it is important to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Thank you.

I truly believe these verses. I’m LDS and I will do my best to protect my family and those around me.

LDS ain't Christian - that's why so many are leaving.
*Not unlike Scientology.
*just another woke 'con' - hugely wealthy.

Obviously, they have not learned their lesson, a lesson paid for in blood.
It is difficult to fathom the disconnection from reality and wisdom in such a safety defeating decision.

Totally agree
Well said, Keith. I appreciate the distinction. 👍
