Hi Keith. We have different expectations for different functions. We use a older fellow to focus on the cameras. He gives the “on duty” front door team a heads-up on outside activity.
On-duty fellows carry air horns for a “all hands” response as well as radios and pepper spray.
Those on duty assign “off duty” fellows to primary “emergency”…

Those on duty assign “off duty” fellows to primary “emergency” defense of critical rooms as they enter, nursery, toddlers, children, etc. All others respond to situation.
All of our team has agreed to run toward the gun shots but I pray that never happens, but if it does I hope courage overcomes fear.
We have no training for people quarreling or fights. That was a blind spot for sure! Thank you! I wonder what else we have missed. Thinking you know is a dangerous thing; you quit looking.
