Good morning. I am a member of a local church here in Orlando FL as well as a member of its security team. We have an upcoming seminar with several well known pastors that's going to be held at our church and my question is; would it be wise or prudent to have have one member of security posted at the front of the church brandishing an AR-15 as a show of force to any would-be attackers?

Thank you for your time and commitment to helping small security teams like mine with invaluable knowledge and resources.

Good information, thanks to you and the former JTTF agent. I am fortunate to attend a church that has a great security team, so I tend to get complacent about safety. I am a greeter and am

focused on welcoming people into church to hear the gospel. I know some of the Security Team, but feel that all of responsibility to keep the people safe is on them. How could I reach out to them to convey that all of our church members need to be on the lookout for security threats, and work as a team, without distracting them from their assignments?
