Thank you Keith! I downloaded the course outline, much appreciated. I’m not seeing the download link for the accompanying PowerPoint referenced in the article. Could you send me the link for that? I’m assuming that has pictures or diagrams, etc. thanks

Keith, you seem to be mixing apples and oranges. In one sentence you are talking about room-clearing and the next you are talking about CQB, two very different things.

From my training and the way I train students, CQB is within 3 feet. Room clearing is much different.

To some of us, CQB is anything inside of 25 yards. This is within 3-second sprinting range. If no obstacles are in place, it is edged-weapons range. Most room-clearing operations fall in this category.
