Sarah Adams suggested that ISIS/Al Queda seeks to instill fear in the average American. To me that indicates their plans are to hit middle America more so than to hit the bigger, more thought of targets. Like it or not everyone would be wise to prepare as if this were known to truth as opposed to well researched speculation.
I consider our church to be between a 1 and 2. We are a Messianic Jewish congregation. Our Pastor/Rabbi is from the tribe of Judah and we broadcast all services. We've already had several incidents. We do have a security team but the pastor is slow to recognize the need for training for all church staff and teachers.
I thought level 1 but based on the size of our congregation, I wasn't sure. Thank you Keith. A bunch of my team got to meet you at the Ft Worth conference. That was awesome. ❤️
I just watched a YouTube video about the "RDAP Pro" app. It looks like an app that would be useful to churches, families, CERT type groups and maybe cities. There's SO much info, I'm going to watch the video again. It was on the Provident Prepper YT channel. Free and paid versions.
Can you recommend an application our church could use to develop and maintain our Risk Analysis posture? We’ve developed an Emergency Action Plan but need to augment our ESP with an RA living document that we can easily update as needs require.
For me is very difficult to answer this question brother Keith. I don’t see a security team doing the best nor has the amount of member for the side of the church and the church has a great size in building, parking lots and people. As a RLEO I do practice to stay safe while I am at church.
Keith you do a great job, above average,no where does the Bible tell us to repent of sin , it says to repent ( change your mind) Mark 1:14-15 ,Acts 16:31, repent of sin is works, trust Christ for what He did at Calvary, thank you for all you do, for the gospel
"Nowhere does the Bible tell us to repent of sin."
Really? What are we to repent of? Righteousness?
Acts 3:26 God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
Luke 3:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins
3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance
17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
17:4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out...
8:22 Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thine heart may be forgiven thee.
8:23 For I perceive that thou art in the gall of bitterness, and [in] the bond of iniquity.
26:20 But showed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and [then] to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.
Rev. 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
Ezekiel 18:30 ... Repent, and turn [yourselves] from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.
18:31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn [yourselves], and live ye.
Jesus said that it is when people see the good works that flow from a regenerated life, that they will glorify our Father in heaven. Matthew 5:13-16. The New Creature (2 Cor. 5:17) is the greatest miracle that can be wrought. It is the work of God. If the branch is producing dead works, it is not connected to the Vine, and cannot bear the fruits of the Spirit.
A form of godliness that denies the power of God to give us the gift of repentance for, and victory over, sin, should be turned away from. Even the heathen know this, and tend to be obedient. Christianity that has lost its uplifting and purifying power has "lost its savor." Matt. 5:13.

I’d say you’re a level 1 then.
