A lot of churches host big celebrations for the 4th. And this is the 250th. Huge target rich environment.

I have not seen any credible reporting from our adversaries or from the government on this yet. Usually ISIS/AQ will release something a week or two before to rile up the lone wolves. That is our biggest threat. It's still too early to give an accurate assessment on our 250th celebration. We can assume that something will happen, but that would be a wild guess and not a proper assessment.
