Here in Florida churches as private property owners are given control of who is allowed to have a firearm on church property, but in Florida No Guns Allowed signage is not legally adequate it must be done verbally and once the individual is notified that the firearm must be removed they can be trespassed for refusal. Our church encourages citizens to get their CCW permit if they are concerned about defending themselves and family from deadly threats it's Biblical. Florida recently removed it's permitting requirement and is slowly moving towards being an open carry state and individuals will i'm sure insist on open carry at church which I think cause churches to to a hard look at carry period. Our Life Safety Team ministry has not had an encounter with anyone openly or carelessly displaying a firearm. Pray you have a blessed CHRISTmas.
