Should that be the same concept be in churches and what would be the tactical considerations such as response and alert levels, signals...? How much should the congregation be involved, such as mass shooter training, etc. As you say, without training, it can be a total disaster.
I’ve written about it before, about team structure. If you’re big enough, you should have a dispatcher, team leaders and an intelligence officer. on our team, the dispatcher also monitors all of the cameras. If something were to occur, they would be the ones to call 911 and relay information as it occurs so the team can deal with the situation at hand. When we train we incorporate everybody into the scenario.
