Keith, thank you for all you are doing to promote safety and security in churches. It’s sad that so many churches ignore this aspect of our present reality and continue to operate under the delusion of “business as usual” as if we were back in the 1990’s.
I am a member of one of those churches. The “security manager” is too busy to even get the security schedule out on time. I send your warnings to him, but no change. Too busy to even consider them. He is manager of church maintenance, sound, and security. He also holds down a full-time position with an investment company. He is younger than me and my pastor’s nephew. How do you suggest I move forward?
After 50+ yrs as a pastor, I have one comment: IF (& that is a big if) the church is praying before hiring a staff member AND they are listening to the Spirit, they would not fall into the enemy's trap.

Joined the Ohio group this morning. Question. Do you receive notifications when someone posts or do you have to check from time to time or daily to see who has joined or what posts are new?
I'm getting notifications, but to be honest, I wouldn't totally trust it. I would go back once a week and just look for new people that want to organize.

It is work. It took a lot of work, and still does, for my watch here in Idaho. Use common sense and start forming those groups so we can work together.
Great question by Ed. I suppose one perspective is that doing something is better than doing nothing. I totally realize that LE and military have been and could be compromised too. Thank you for this. I like the idea.
