My daughter is a missionary in Senegal & has to be very careful. When she did a short stent in Burkino Faso in the north (about 6 yrs ag), they had to flee to the capital b/c some native Protestant pastors were killed by Jihadists who come down from the north. I’ve been to Senegal a few times now & even though Senegal is relatively hospitable to foreigners, during Friday prayer times or during holy times, it gets intense. Why do I feel security in all its forms is going to go insane within the next few years? It feels or looks like someone/s are using religion to do their cultural dirty work.
