The Army teaches situational awareness. This applies to the church parking lot. This briefing on this incident will help me be more aware as I make my rounds at church.

One more reason to inspect each car in your parking lot, especially watching for persons in vehicles!!!!

Perhaps not each and every one, esp of regular congregants, team members, etc. But, loitering strangers, yes, especially if certain visual clues are discernible.

This is the exact reason to train for head shots. A LOT!!!

Hopefully, won’t need to take one if the potential threat is addressed early

I want you to go to Christian Warrior Training and watch the video Keith put together about the right way and the wrong way to approach a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. If you haven't seen it yet, or this would be a good time to review.

Great information and yes, a sad reality we must be ready for a multilayered and possibly multiple attacker scenario. God bless you for what you do.

Thank you once again Keith for keeping us updated on events like this and giving us your expert feedback. Praying for all defenders to have the Lord’s wisdom and discernment to protect their flock! 🙏🏼👍 Stay strong and stay

What is the RACE Framework?

I believe it is based on the cyber security framework as applicable here... Research, Assess, Communicate, Execute... if I am off, someone let me know

Unfortunately our elders stopped our parking lot patrols and took away our coms. On the bright side, our team has a very clear view of the parking lot from the worship hall and front entrance.

Tell your elders you are looking for kids left in cars (another reason for parking lot checks)! They can't easily say no to that.
