When I concealed carry off duty or when a civilian, I found it easier to carry in a fanny pack. My weapon could show if I carried it on my hip and raised or reached with my arms. I live in California and people are not used to others carrying guns. The fanny pack allowed me to carry extra magazines and medical supplies with my phone, and even a backup gun. The hip holster and handgun always hit the center console of my car and I didn't always wear a belt when going out to carry on my hip. When I carried on my waste, I always kept my badge on my belt in front of the holster. There was never a problem with concealment. However, bad guys who see someone who looks like law enforcement carrying a fanny pack, usually recognize you as an officer. That could be good or bad. Do you have any opinion on carrying your gun concealed in a fanny pack? I could open the zipper and remove my 1911.45 as quickly as clearing my shirt and jacket and drawing from the holster. It just takes practice. Concealed carry fanny packs have velcro straps to keep your weapon secure and extra room for supplies. It is also much more difficult to have someone snatch your gun if it is in a fanny pack. Many people can observe a weapon bulging from your hip and can grab it unless it is in a retention holster, which most people don't carry unless on dutey LEOs.

Or something non-denominational. Unfortunately, most Jewish leaders won't follow a channel with Christian in front of it. Jesus to seek answers of just who He was. Nicodemus, the Teacher of Teachers suspected Jesus was authentic and wanted to know more. I recommend viewing that episode, it's very well done. As a side note, Nicodemus helped place the body of Jesus in the borrowed grave.
To address your question of 'fanny packs' or a man purse for concealed carry, I think it is a viable option. I have a friend and that is how he carries. It may not be a simple and speedy way to draw, but at least you have the tools. If on duty I would think a holster would be more practical. I don't carry often, I don't practice enough and my eyesight is getting worse. I do keep an alert posture when in public and I know where the exits are. Crowd control and comms may be my job nowadays. You may also find the website Pew Pew Tactical informative. At one time they carried a shirt that stated "people with AR's don't get in cattle cars". Valid point.

He follows the pastor (who'd asked him to be watched if he returns) and goes in and out of the restroom more than once (big concern once, let alone multiple times). I'm trying to understand why so much time and space was given to Mbawavi? Going back to your comment above - Early contact with Mbawavi (when he's first ID'd as one who was asked to leave on a previous occasion) would "close that gap" much earlier in the situation.
Excellent de-brief. Having church in a public facility really complicates the security issue, I would assume 'strangers' would attend every service. The pastor was definitely heads up and key in this happy ending. Next concern: minimum to no sentence by the DA and this bad guy returns with more anger and a better plan.

Lots of errors 2 go around, from security failing to immediately meet an greet with 2 security people to Pastor Romo failing to tell security that guy was told to leave last month so walk him out of here now. He followed the lead pastor n2 the restroom 3 times-what? Pastor Romo made a huge mistake by walking up to the guy in the first place an doing what security should have done.Where was security. You should not only get a full description of the band trespassers, do everything possible to get a photo. A FOIA request from local PD. They may have a photo. It would not surprise me if you get hate mail and threats against your life. So, I pray for God's protection over you and your family. I am isolated and alone. Nobody visits or reaches out to me. My son loves me in the way an adult neurodivergent young man does. He has never kissed me in my life. Perhaps I have had a few hugs. I took such good care of him. I played with him and taught him to communicate by playing with stuffed animals hours before bedtime. I gave him as much love as Jesus gives us. He would not go to sleep unless I slept next to him. I did this until the age of 13.
As soon as I was saved, my life was destroyed. I lost everything. I still have a son who is not ready to be independent in this world due to the autism. So, I suffer. I don't want to die and ruin the successful path he is on. He sees me suffering. Despite the years I spent praying and teaching him about Yeshua, he is not yet saved. I spend my days in prayer when I can concentrate. Jesus said we would suffer. But I never expected this. If you can use my testimony to help people on your program, please do. I'm curious on yours and others thoughts on why contact and assessment was not made with Mbawavi by security when he entered and was ID'd as a previously-identified "concern". He was apparently not trespassed on the first occasion. He enters carrying a backpack (concern). He follows the pastor (who'd asked him to be watched if he returns) and goes in and out of the restroom more than once (big concern once, let alone multiple times). I'm trying to understand why so much time and space was given to Mbawavi? Going back to your comment above - Early contact with Mbawavi (when he's first ID'd as one who was asked to leave on a previous occasion) would "close that gap" much earlier in the situation.
Excellent de-brief. Having church in a public facility really complicates the security issue, I would assume 'strangers' would attend every service. The pastor was definitely heads up and key in this happy ending. Next concern: minimum to no sentence by the DA and this bad guy returns with more anger and a better plan.

Lots of errors 2 go around, from security failing to immediately meet an greet with 2 security people to Pastor Romo failing to tell security that guy was told to leave last month so walk him out of here now. He followed the lead pastor n2 the restroom 3 times-what? Pastor Romo made a huge mistake by walking up to the guy in the first place an doing what security should have done.Where was security. What you have is a total failure of security to do it's job. Col Dean

It was fortunate that the attacker was stopped. A review of their polices concerning a banded person needs review. You should not only get a full description of the band trespassers, do everything possible to get a photo. A FOIA request from local PD. They may have a photo. Also capture the best still you can off your security cameras and even search the internet. Just my thoughts. God Bless.
