Our pastor is a RN. About 1/4 of the ladies are RNs. All of the youth leaders an security is CPR, first aid, AED, and stop the bleed certified. We have a well stocked first aid kit and an AED within 3 minutes of the entire building.

Great topic. It's a real concern, even three or four blocks from the firehouse, we are still 4 to 5 minutes out. Good job on very practical insights. Keep up the great work!

We actually had this happen with a visiting Pastor - he appeared tp have a cardiac event - fortunately we are blessed to have a number of RNs, a PA and several first responders that attend. In addition there are several of us that are LE active and retired. Our church is less than 5 minutes from the responding Fire Dept and Hospital. We had EM personnel on site within 3 minutes. We also had the intercessory prayer team immediately go to the Lord in prayer. I am happy to report the Pastor survived the incident and has made a full recovery. Thank you for what you do I am a regular follower
