Narcan: Check with your county health department. Some will supply narcan in quantity to churches. In Ohio, "Project Dawn" offers a free 1 dose unit for individuals. Some pharmacies will supply a 1 unit dose.

And this brings up an interesting question; how do you hold those accountable who have joined your team and refuse to come to training or always have an excuse why they’re not there? Then you have the political part of those who won’t leave the team, and tell you they do what they want anyway. I live in Texas, so as you’re aware it’s a Constitutional Carry state.
That’s exactly what I’ve done. Now, we are getting to the point where they are going to lose their status. I’m concerned it’s going to leave us short, and there will be political repercussions. Oh well, God is in control.

They recently voted in someone to replace me and I told them I'd stay on to help train them, but we'll have to see how it goes from here. Civilians just don't understand these issues. I keep praying for them though.

Thanks Ron. I think you mean a Level 2 retention holster. For a Glock 17 with a weapon light, your options get narrower, especially if you want to carry concealed. I would look at Alien Gear and make sure the holster is made for your exact Glock and light combination. I would avoid universal holsters. If you are carrying openly on a security team, Safariland ALS is still hard to beat, but for concealed carry you’ll need to verify the specific fit.

Make a requirement that they have to come to so many trainings per year or they lose their status on the team. That’s easiest way to do it.
