This is an incredibly detailed and therefore immensely helpful information for safety teams! Keith, my blood boiled at the thought of my young grandchildren being endangered by anyone. As our team forms, I will need to heed your advice to remain lawful! Thank you, Keith!
Your writeup about this recent incident during a church service is the most comprehensive with details/facts I've not read in any other article I've come across. Thank you as a Brother in Christ and as a member of a Team at my church for sharing this writeup with sage advice and recommendations that all congregations should give heed to!
It gives vital input to when we train in 'What If..' scenarios. For example, we hadn't thought about continuing to record the incident as evidence later, even as we cut the live-stream broadcast.
Thank you Christian Warrior Training for this. Church safety teams need to do consistent physical training not only to be prepared for events but do scenarios to lock that training into our mindset.
Thanks Keith, I read this word for word first to myself then out loud to my wife. We were both security at our former church before we moved. Everyone needs this! To be honest when I got to the part of them blocking access to kids? That would have been full on for me. Not weapons but physical force to show that’s not happening in my church.
Keith, I feel you're anxiety when you're talking about this church invasion. I don't see how any Christian wouldn't feel it.
I have a different view of the "protesters" blocking access to the children. This is nothing less than terrorists taking hostages. They want something from the parents, thus they take the children hostage to make the parents do, or listen, to whatever they want. Why doesn't the federal government look at it this way?
Unless you already have available, can you plan on doing a video and or training documents on scrubbing social media for intel on these groups. I am not a social media person myself but this would be helpful to a few of our younger guys on the team.
This event is but another reason I always carry pepper spray into service as a non-lethal alternative to hollow points. If someone enters my church and screams in my face and will not follow my directions to please leave the church immediately, and they further go so far as to physically impair my movement and body check me or head butt me, or appear as if they are about to present some type of weapon, as a 70 year-old, I am now in a situation where I am allowed to defend myself. My pepper spray is the gel type that minimizes collateral damage and it is a large size that should allow 15-20 applications. If the protesters rush me as a result, I break leather in self defense only a a matter of last result, as would any concealed carry citizen. Yelling, STOP THE VIOLENCE -STOP THE THREATS, is more evidence bystanders can report that I was under physical threat of bodily injury before defending myself. The rules work both ways folks. We need to use them. These criminals act as if they are victims after they suddenly get bit by a dog after taunting that very animal. The nice thing about getting older is, your threshold of safety gets lower as your risk of injury increases. This is well established in case law.
Excellent point about saying OUT LOUD to “stop the violence” so when an official investigation asks it can be honestly answered that you all but begged them to stop. Actually I’d go further and say just that-“I’m begging you to stop this violence”!
And yes, denying access to your child IS akin to them being kidnapped IMO but a good question to ask a criminal lawyer.

God is using you to help his church security members on how to deal with the evil that is coming to our churches. God is going to bless your ministry because Scripture says it's going to get worse before Jesus comes back. We need to stick together as security team members and protect our church as Scripture says. Be blessed my brother in Christ 🙏

Thank you Keith, Keep my church leaders in your prayers. They are in the process of planning to develop a team.
