Thank you, Can you set up a training guide line for an intelligence officer. I would not have a clue as to where I should look for this information. Would my local PD be able to help guide me?
Super work, as always, Keith. I can think of two reasons for the FBI not notifying the churches involved - one good (as you’ve noted here), and one that really causes me bother. I don’t want to think ill of others, but sometimes we need to be alert for overt failures.
My Trust is in the Lord. I dont have high views of the FBI for personal reasons. If you don't play ball their way, things can get nasty. It's happened to my family years ago. Thank you brother for doing the work the Lord has entrusted you to do.
About the FBI and other government agencies not sharing. When I left the service, I joined a volunteer auxiliary organization affiliated with a government police agency. Occasionally, higher ranking individuals would “share” confidential information with us. There were times that information was leaked to the media. As a result several carefully planned operations were compromised. The reasons were many but mostly people in the know wanted to boost their own ego at the expense to the mission. That is one reason the FBI didn’t share about an active case.
FBI not trustworthy- who woulda thunk it? Thanks for keeping us informed Keith. This reminds me of the multiple stories of the FBI “watching” a suspicious person that commits a mass shooting. Keep it up Keith!
This situation is very similar to one I faced about 15 years ago when a student in a laboratory class I taught at a university in Arizona confessed to wanting to do physical harm to me for perceived injustices during an interview with our Departmental Head for a completely unrelated incident he had been involved in. The intel got passed along to the Dean of Students, who told the Head NOT to reveal anything to me. Fortunately, the Head did the right thing and let me know what had been said so I could prepare myself.
The Security Director at my church is tied in with our local fusion center. But I am not sure how often the information passes back and forth. Either way, unless a specific church is named, there is agencies have a hard time deciding what to pass on . And if there were broad announcements, evil would win because people would stay away. Need to pray for alot of discernment from everyone involved.
Locally, (PA) we have a program with the State police and Home Land Security . They provide info and training for local churches. They do send out information. I guess we are some of the blessed ones.

Texas doesn’t allow church security personnel to wear any kind of uniform. We ARE visible at our church in other ways.

Thank you for this. Sad, but I'm sure very true.

TY for looking out for us!
AMEN BROTHER
Thank you Keith. Can you do a simple training to show us all how and what to monitor?
