1 Timothy 3:5: “For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church?” Churches have long been considered sanctuaries where individuals seek spiritual nourishment and a sense of community. However, the open and welcoming nature of these sacred establishments can sometimes pose security challenges, necessitating a well-thought-out security strategy. As someone with a background in training and auditing church security measures, I have traversed the spectrum of security preparedness across various churches. This journey has revealed some common oversights that, when addressed, can significantly bolster the safety and security of church premises and, by extension, its congregation.
Excellent insights and overview of what's needed today in church security. Thanks as always, Keith for what you do to help our Safety Team remain prepared and vigilant.
Excellent. Thank you!
