I am a LDS member who carries at all church activities. I have breached the subject with my bishop. He has allowed me to carry, possibly to both our peril with church policy. He is now our stake president. Hopefully this will change church policy. We will also have a new prophet in Salt Lake soon. Anxious to here their view on Christian attacks.

Thank you for all you do for our community. My readiness and our ward’s security has benefited from it.

I pray for those who have been injured, and for the families who have lost loved ones. I pray for healing, physical, emotional and spiritual healing. I pray for answers and for justice. May God lead us in a new direction leaving the hatred behind.

I brought the ISIS newsletter up to one of my guys at church. We have no security team. All doors are pretty much open. Only one guy to my knowledge carries and is trained. I'm not old enough to possess and carry but I brought this up to at least get a foot in the door. Hopefully when I am 21 I will be able to posses and be trained.

God bless you, Brayden, for all your efforts to improve security at your local church. You give me hope that there are more young men like you coming up in the churches. So sorry there is so much chatter today about β€œtoxic masculinity” in our culture. You exhibit two of the best of Biblical values for Christian men: to serve others and to protect the flock. Tell your parents they can be very proud of their brave son! (Especially tell your mom!😊) I will pray for you tonight. ❀️✝️❀️

Understood, Yu Zhi. I never displayed the actual newsletter itself, just mentioned that a newsletter had come out from ISIS threatening the churches. I only brought it up to a trusted member and no one else. I will try to bring it up to my leaders and see how we can go from here. Thank you for your words and concern.

Interesting that the murderer turned out to be a former US serviceman. Quite surprising given that the location is Michigan. I was watching in realtime and would have bet big money that the murderer would have been of a different background.

I know that is after 16:15. I will wait for my question to be answered: I have heard what you said about different rounds but when it comes to vehicle attack. But, what do you think about one of my extra magazines is loaded with 124 grain 9mm round nose. After I empty the first magazine of hollow point, I reload with that round nose magazine and continue to fire at the vehicle? Is that reasonable?

I do remember that you said shoot through the glass.

I would not do that. Buy Speer gold dot or similar rounds and you won’t have an issue. Do you have to realize it when you’re shooting at a car you’ll be lucky to get through. Aim for the windows. That’s the only way you’re going to get them.

Keith: Thanks for all the info, training and intelligence that you provide for us. I share it with our church security team and leadership. Your comments in the video about 100 FBI agents being too many but their Evidence Response Team capabilities being valuable were right on. As a retired FBI agent/ERT member I can assure you they take their work dead serious. Keep up your important work. Rick Loyd, Nashville, TN

There is another quote in Luke 22: vs. 36; And He said to them, "But now, let him who has a purse take it along, likewise also a bag, and let him who has no sword (firearm?) sell his robe and buy one."

As a certified firearms instructor for 17 years, living in a state and even a nation that's become violent and aggressive I am very much pro armed. My state sadly has been reduced to #2 by the "governor" who has pushed aggressive anti-2nd. Amendment bills against law abiding citizens while hardened criminals run roughshod over those citizens. You mention "true strength", and knowing when protection means more than weapons...many of my students have been working women...men out "strength" women and one cannot always maintain a safe space when out in the cities. Mental strength is one thing and definitely important, but also knowing you can be a victim at any time...but how do you know those times? I went through a year of tough training through a national firearms venue. At least half of my students were women who traveled for their jobs; new unknown cities, dangers; our justice system is a blot on this nations safety. One truth that is always "absent" in any so-called news articles decrying the 2nd. Amendment; law abiding citizens who've gone through extensive training are not going about shooting up groups of citizens or picking out someone to kill because they don't like the way they look. I never ever want to kill anyone but if I'm targeted I will defend. We have the right to safety and security...we just need to maintain it and not depend on someone else to do so. Our law enforcement has been under attack since a previous "president" declared war on them. Citizens have the God given right to protect themselves and their families...spirit will not stop a speeding bullet.

Thank you Keith our security team follows you and appreciates what you put out. We follow your advice as best we can and I do use the term security team because everybody on our team is a Tennessee licensed armed security officer. We have some of the best people for the job on our security team. They are focused and dedicated and I appreciate all of them. We have about 15 on our team and we are about to train three more really good people keep up the good work we need the information

What a sad increasing trend. Great work advising on security. Ballard's and armed guards should be a minimum at these places of worship and schools.
