"Situational Awareness" applies to words and ideas as well as to suspicious behavior. Our best tools to counter evil ideas are ministries that teach Biblical truths to our children. Even so, with the exponential increase in nefarious actors using 'social media' to advance those evil ideas, we can't let our guard down. Ever.

“Rejection of moral order. Rejection of restraint. Rejection of inherited identity.” This sounds like what is now being called Nihilistic Violence Extremism = “a generalized hatred for society and a rejection of meaning—rather than a specific political or religious ideology. Motivated by destruction and anti-humanism, NVE groups like 764 and No Lives Matter (NLM) promote violence, murder, and chaos, often through online platforms.” (Google did a nice job of explaining this). We all so desperately need Jesus! Thank you, Keith, for what you are doing.

Exactly right. See my comment explaining that this is the essence of "queer theory"

Keith, I'm a paid subscriber and I love your dedication to Jesus, and also to protecting Jesus's churches. Just want to let you know my medium-size church near Wichita KS has a full security team. I watch the cameras (we call it overwatch) during service, monitoring BOTH inside and outside. What's going on currently is only increasing our focus and dedication to protecting the flock. Our upcoming training will focus on de-escalation among other skills. I'm always praying for you and your ministry.

Good vigilance there.

Just out of curiosity though, does your pastor teacher ever say anything on Sunday mornings in opposition to the forces of evil, such that he would ever attract their attention, much less provoke any attack?

Our church too has a security team, but I often wonder what they think they are protecting? Our supposed pastor teacher says he doesn't even read the news, and therefore he never exposes the evil in our society. Why would anyone want to attack our church?

Evidence of the satanic stuff is very typical of attacks on churches (especially Christian), and is distinct from the (now sadly 'usual') terroristic kind. The attack in Southern California on a Catholic Church / school has all the satanic earmarks. And between now and Easter there will be more - some years ago at least three Catholic churches were broken into and sacrilegiously vandalized with identical ritual desecrations, and the three were all over the State (from San Diego to NorCal) and all on the same night. A lot of people - even in law enforcement - are in denial about the ritual satanic motive in these attacks. Just a heads up, and stay praying as well as vigilant.

I found it interesting that you noted many radicalized individuals use well known terms that conjure up many violent images in our minds - Nazi, Gestapo, Satan etc - not to indicate ideology so much as to indicate violent tendencies. That explains why many on the left today spew these terms so liberally, and why so many young women, trans and gay people appear to align themselves with radical Islam which would destroy the aspirations, if not the lives of those same people.

Re: what you said about " Rejection of moral order. Rejection of restraint. Rejection of inherited identity...meaning is not discovered or built. It is burned down."

David M. Halperin is a foundational figure in queer theory, best known for his 1995 book Saint Foucault, where he defined "queer" as a political positionality that opposes the normative, legitimate, and dominant—not a fixed identity or natural category (not even fundamentally about sex specifically), but rather a stance of opposition to established social norms.

See James Lindsay's book, "The Querying Of The American Child"

What is the best way to secure intelligence? How do we monitor who and what might be said in social media circles? Specific threats might be easier to find but more subtle and discreet threats would seem to be difficult to track down.

is there a systematic way to find these threats online? Cyberspace is a large universe to search.
