Thank you Keith. I cannot wait to learn from the upcoming video. I have been putting on hold for getting a ccw insurance plan because I want to get your inputs before I make a final choice. Our church’s insurance policy covers security team while on duty. However, I am more interested to find a suitable plan for my own use especially while not serving.

Even though your church and their insurance say they will cover you, I would still get a CCW plan. It is cheap insurance that hopefully you will never need. You just never know what’s gonna happen.

I agree with you Keith. I definitely will get a ccw plan for myself.

Hello Kieth,

Thanks for all you do for this network! Your information is invaluable.

We lead a church security team in Arizona with 35 members. Our executive pastor said the church’s insurance broker told him they cannot add our members as additionally insured on their liability policy. Several members are concerned about their personal liability if they are involved in an on-duty shooting.

Most of us have legal defense insurance but are interested in your pending article.

Do you have any recommendations on how churches can cover the liability for armed security team members?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

My direct email is security@calvaryaz.com

Thank you,

Keith,

I do hope you include negligence issues. Insurance polices can have a lot of small print few if anybody reads

I was wondering what everyone is using for radios and headsets. We are currently using Revis 16 channel 2 way radios with over the ear corded earpieces with a Manual keyed mic. Our issue is awful sound quality especially during worship/ music times.

Any suggestions?

I think it would be a good idea to talk about the legal justification for using lethal and non lethal force!

Thank you Keith. I have the USCCA and I've heard a few times because it's insurance and not directly defense lawyers, a couple of people were not covered when they should have been? What do you know about this? Thank you and God bless you.

You’ll need a new plan! More on Wednesday.

Glad to see this coming. I am new to firearms and in training. I went with one of the most well-known/popular companies. I am considering others, but all claim to be the best. I want to know if an insurance company will stand by its members and if they can back it up with hard facts (proof).

I appreciate all the info that you provide. I’ve recently been asked to lead our church Security team. It’s a small rural church with an older congregation. We are located in North Florida. Is there anyone in this area that offers training services that we can contact to help train our team. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
