Excellent! Thank you!

That "security" guard had no business bringing a gun to a protest. He had never trained for that environment, didn't know his backstop, and was shooting through gaps of civilians in the crowd.

If you can't be a good example...be a horrible warning!

If his only view was through that slatted fence and no verbal commands given, if there was time and the situation was right, this is not looking good.

Thanks for your assessment of this incident! Can you give us a link to your assessment of the various carry "insurance" outfits?

The one he recommends is Right to Bear. I believe there's an article at PewPewTactical that does this. I know some use USCCA and others use CCW Safe.

What a nightmare scenario. A rifle at low ready is a threat compared to slung over the shoulder.

No cop would tolerate that low ready rifle if the person refused to drop it. The cop would say drop it as he squeezed the trigger on his own gun. This guy was acting to instill fear and obviously did. He could have had it over his shoulder. In a crowd sometimes you have to go hands on not shoot or shoot point blank. Bear spray and a collapsible baton are nice to have too. I would never even attend a protest armed with a gun. Look what it got the ICE protestor in Minneapolis even though he never touched his holstered gun. You covered very well all the things you should do. Still no guarantees. Agent provocateurs are in every crowd. A roll of the dice between hero and villain .

Excellent take! A tragic story and a coward prosecutor.

Ok, so how is that Right To Bear can put an add-on to cover Washington State, but not be able to offer a membership here?

Perhaps they'd be able to answer.
